Paramedics were called to a park after a person fell from a swing and sustained a head injury.
An ambulance and an intensive care car arrived at Hove Lagoon yesterday afternoon shortly before 2:30 p.m.
Teams were called to the eastern shore of the lake, near the children’s play area and Big Beach Cafe.
The South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) said a patient was taken to hospital following a fall from a height on a swing, after sustaining a head injury.
A spokesperson said: “I can confirm that we were called to the Lagoon on Kingsway at around 2:20 pm yesterday to report that a person had fallen from a swing.
“Ambulance teams attended the scene and the person was assessed and treated before being taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital with a head injury.”
