German club confirm Julian Börner’s contract – but he’s still a Sheffield Wednesday player UK News

As reported on the club’s official website today, Kind said: “We have a contract with him – subject to change… If he gets permission in Sheffield, he will come and see us.”

Meanwhile, the club’s new sporting director Marcus Mann said: “We have to wait and see how things develop.”

The club also explained that “Börner has yet to clarify things with his former club over which Hannover 96 has no influence”, adding that this “may still take time” – while Sportbuzzer reports said he might even miss the start of the season when it starts around the end of July.

For now though, Börner is still a Wednesday player and, as such, is expected to return to Middlewood Road on Friday to begin preseason testing with the rest of his current Owls teammates, and only time will tell. where he will play his football next season.
