A note promising blood in exchange for bringing down a woman “deeply in love” has been found in the bedroom of a man accused of murdering two sisters in a park, a court has heard.
Danyal Hussein, 19, is accused of launching a fierce knife attack on sisters Bibaa Henry, 46, and Nicole Smallman, 27, in the early hours of June 6 last year.
The siblings, who were celebrating Ms Henry’s birthday, were found dead in bushes at Fryent Country Park in north London the next day.
Old Bailey jurors learned how the elements of the investigation came together on June 30 of last year after a DNA breakthrough.
After Hussein’s arrest on July 1 last year, police recovered handwritten notes from his room at an address in south-east London.

Detective Sergeant Rob Dodds explained to jurors that a paper pouch contained a pendant and papers.
One of them was addressed to Queen Byleth and signed Danyal.
One side of the paper read:
” My requests :
– Make (name deleted) fall so deeply in love with me that she is not sexually or romantically interested in anyone other than me.
– Make (name redacted) believe and see that I am the only one for her.
– Make (name redacted) fall so deeply in love with me where she shows and expresses her love for me.
– Making me more romantically attractive to women. “
The other side of the sheet read:
“Queen Byleth
Your requests :
– Every two weeks, burn the senseless [sic] in your name, offer a sweet drink, offer chocolate
– Buy more red candles
– Donate blood
I agree to respect the requests made and to respect my part of the agreement.

The court heard that the name of a woman mentioned in the note had been erased from the exhibit seen by jurors.
