Euro 2020: English fans fill Sheffield pub ahead of England-Germany clash UK News

Two Thirds Beer on Abbeydale Road saw Three Lions fans rally hours before the 5pm kickoff to secure the best seats in the house.

Pub supervisor Richard McCormick said the pub was full as people had booked tables when the pub opened at 2pm.

He said: “I’m very excited about this – it’s good to see people get excited about football. We have a lot of regulars who came with us even during the lockdown.

He said the pub, which can seat up to 30 people at a time, also has outdoor areas with benches specially set up for the game.

“We’ve been here the last two games. There’s a great atmosphere, the people are nice and the guys are top notch. It’s also good to support a local business too.

“I hope England beat Germany with three or four goals.”
