Two Thirds Beer on Abbeydale Road saw Three Lions fans rally hours before the 5pm kickoff to secure the best seats in the house.
Pub supervisor Richard McCormick said the pub was full as people had booked tables when the pub opened at 2pm.
He said: “I’m very excited about this – it’s good to see people get excited about football. We have a lot of regulars who came with us even during the lockdown.
“We are not as big as we would like, but we have as many people as possible.”
He said the pub, which can seat up to 30 people at a time, also has outdoor areas with benches specially set up for the game.
“It’s full so it’s fine especially on a Tuesday night, but it will feel like a Saturday night – unless we lose and everyone goes home, which I hope doesn’t happen. . “
Regular customer Tom Plant, 29, said it was his third time watching England play for Euro 2020 in the same pub.
“We’ve been here the last two games. There’s a great atmosphere, the people are nice and the guys are top notch. It’s also good to support a local business too.
“I hope England beat Germany with three or four goals.”
England face either Ukraine or Sweden in the quarter-finals after beating Germany 2-0 in the round of 16.
