The ruins of a village believed to be haunted by a 17th century ghost have been put up for sale.
The old village of Lawers, on the north shore of Loch Tay in Perthshire, is up for grabs for offers of over £ 125,000.
The three-acre site includes a private beach, semi-old native forest, and trout fishing rights.
It also includes the Old Lawers Church, built in 1669, a mill, an oven, the House of the Lawers, and apparently the ghost of its last occupant, a woman who predicted the invention of trains and steamboats.

She is said to have predicted the creation of the railway in a vision of “carriages” crossing the Drumochter Pass, as well as the construction of steamboats when she spoke of a “ship driven by smoke”.
She is also said to have predicted the Highland clearances, when tenants were driven from the land to make way for sheep.
This affected his own village in the 17th century when many villagers were evicted.
The ruins largely date from this time, although there is evidence of a settlement at the site prior to 1473.
The 1841 census lists 17 people living in the village but it was abandoned at the beginning of the 20th century.
Historic Environment Scotland describes the site as “a remarkable and well-preserved example of a deserted settlement”.
Jon Lambert, Partner of Goldcrest Land and Forestry Group Sales Agents, said: “This is an extremely rare opportunity to buy some of the Scottish heritage in one of the most beautiful places in the country.
“The sale offers a unique chance to own and keep a region wonderfully rich in history, romance and tradition.
“The Old Village of Lawers also offers fabulous amenities. Owners can launch …
