Euro 2020: Charting England’s route to the final after Ukraine hosts the last-eight game | UK News

Ukraine scored an ultimate goal against Sweden in overtime to set up a quarter-final clash with England at Euro 2020.

Artem Dovbyk scored the essential goal of securing a 2-1 victory for his country at Hampden Park in Glasgow, just hours after Gareth Southgate’s men safely advanced to the final eight – knocking out former German rivals thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling.

England will face Ukraine in Rome at 8 p.m. on Saturday.

English fans could be forgiven for feeling optimistic as some of the tournament favorites, Italy, Spain and Belgium, are in the other half of the draw.
