“We gave them a decent score,” he added.
“I know Salford is making it difficult, but they don’t seem to lose a lot of points. “Their defense is quite tough and we faced them last year in the Challenge Cup final.
“Now they are a different team and it was impressive how we managed to come back like we did and score as many points as we did.
“It was impressive and necessary.”
