The Abarth 695 got a limited edition Esseesse specification, which becomes the fastest model in the range, with improved handling and acceleration.
The Esseesse retains the 1.4-liter 180bhp T-jet engine of the 695, but will feature a lightweight aluminum hood with two power bulges, an Akrapovič exhaust and a new rear spoiler with angle adjustment for better stability. . Overall, the downforce has increased to 42 kg and the weight has been reduced by 10 kg.
A limited series of 1390 models will be produced, with 695 units painted in Scorpion black and the other 695 in Campovolo gray.
The car is marked with white details on the rear spoiler, mirror caps and side decals and it sports 17-inch white alloy rims backed by red Brembo brake calipers. The 695 logo appears on the sides and rear of the car.
Inside the car, the slogan “One of 695” is engraved on the headrests, with stitching to match the exterior color chosen by the driver, as well as a carbon fiber gear lever, which, according to the company, “will accentuate its racing soul”.
The Esseesse also gets Fiat’s Uconnect infotainment system, with a 7.0-inch touchscreen housing satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and DAB digital radio.
The specification is inspired by Abarth’s 1964 redesign of the small Fiat 500, which carried the 695 Esseesse badge. Only 1000 units were produced, with displacement increased to 690 cc and horsepower to 38 hp, so 87 mph became manageable. The car featured an “SS” monogram in capital letters on its hood, with “esseesse” on the dashboard.
