A rock band described as “bordering on genius” have added more dates to their upcoming tour.
Royal Blood has announced a new series of shows as they plan to go on tour this summer. The band last performed a full UK concert at the Leeds Festival in August 2019.
The Brighton duo, who released their third album Typhoons, in April, confirmed new shows in Hastings Bristol, Newcastle and Norwich after the government presented plans to ease Covid-19 restrictions for July 19.
The new shows extend Royal Blood’s upcoming tour plans, having previously announced that they will headlining Tramlines and Victorious Festivals in July and August.
The news comes after the band wrapped up a show at Brighton Palace Pier as part of Radio 1’s Big Weekend of Live Music 2021, which featured a selection of ‘Typhoons’ tracks alongside fan favorites such as’ Out Of The Black ”.

Next year, Royal Blood will tour again and embark on their biggest European tour yet. Throughout March and April, they will be supported by The Amazons of Reading.

Since the release of Typhoons, Royal Blood has reached the Top 10 in the US and Canada, “this has elevated their status as one of the leading figures on the international rock scene.”
The group topped the UK charts as well, as they did with their two previous albums, Royal Blood in 2014 and How Did We Get So Dark in 2017.
The rockers achieved two million worldwide sales and won the BRIT Award for Best British Group, two NME Awards and a Kerrang! Price.
