England captain Harry Kane has told the family of a young brain tumor patient he hopes to “put a smile” on their faces by winning the Euro 2020 final.
The family of Harry Crick, two, of Elmswell, Suffolk, received a surprise video message from the Three Lions forward on Saturday.
Speaking to Harry’s brother, Olly, 10, Kane wished his younger brother all the best in fighting an embryonic tumor with multi-layered rosettes.
Kane Said, “Hi Olly, how are you, mate? I heard your brother is having a hard time.

“I just wanted to wish you the best and wish your brother the best, not only from me but also from the whole English team and staff.
“I hope we can make you smile tomorrow night, but I just wanted to send you my best wishes. All the best guys. “
Young Harry was diagnosed with rare brain cancer on December 17 last year, after catching a cold and rolling on his feet.
He underwent surgery to remove a tumor the size of a tennis ball at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge on Christmas Eve, then underwent five rounds of chemotherapy.
Her father Matt, 32, said: “It was a tremendous boost for Olly to receive a video message from Harry Kane.
“It’s amazing the man of the day took the time to do this on the eve of the biggest football game of his career to date.
