A CRASH on the A259 which left a pedestrian seriously injured causes significant traffic delays.
The A259 South Coast Road is closed in both directions at Peacehaven, with an accident queue at the junction of Downland Avenue and the A259 South Coast Road, Peacehaven.
Police said a car collided with a pedestrian at around 3:45 p.m. Monday.
The pedestrian was seriously injured and was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment.
There are traffic jams towards Buckle Bypass, while traffic between Saltdean and Newhaven is also affected.
The accident happened around 3:45 p.m.
