The Jaguar F-Pace got a new R-Dynamic Black specification, which brings design improvements and several new technologies to the model.
The new finish is priced at £ 46,765 and falls below the higher-end SVR. It adds the Black Pack to the regular R-Dynamic trim, so its additions include black mirror caps, 20-inch black wheels with red brake calipers, fixed panoramic roof, privacy windows, black roof rails and a black grille and grille surround.
Inside, the SUV gains ash-colored veneers and shiny metal pedals as well as a new cabin ambient lighting package that offers 30 color settings.
“The F-Pace is a performance SUV with a bold and determined design that really sets it apart,” said Adam Hatton, Jaguar’s director of exterior design. “The creation of the new F-Pace R-Dynamic Black has given us the opportunity to accentuate its sculpted and balanced shape and to offer even more visual impact and presence.
The R-Dynamic Black also benefits from enhanced levels of technology aimed at occupant well-being and comfort, which the company will deploy across the entire F-Pace range. These include adaptive cruise control and steering assistance functions.
The F-Pace will soon benefit from an over-the-air software update capability, with the addition of Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. The model also benefits from a new Cabin Air Purification Plus system, with the ability to recirculate air inside the vehicle before occupants enter the car, and regulate CO2 levels.
The F-Pace Dynamic Black retains the same gasoline, diesel and hybrid powertrains as the rest of the lineup, ranging from entry-level 162bhp entry-level mild hybrid diesel to 3.0-liter turbocharged mild hybrid gasoline with 394 ch.
