New Kia Soul EV Maxx added to the lineup Car News

Kia updated the Soul EV lineup for the 2022 model year with a new Maxx version.

The Soul EV Maxx effectively replaces the previous first edition, which had been on sale since the launch of the electric version of the crossover. Like all Soul EV models sold in the UK, the Maxx has a 64 kWh battery, providing a range of 280 miles.

The Maxx Edition sports the new Kia brand logo, also seen on the redesigned Ceed and the upcoming EV6 electric coupe-SUV, and comes in two new colors, including the option of a contrasting black roof for some tones. .

The new version retains the standard 17-inch alloy rims and black leather upholstery from the first edition, while the standard kit includes LED headlights, heated seats and a 10-speaker Harman / Kardon audio system.

The Soul EV Maxx is priced at £ 32,445, including the UK government’s £ 2,500 plug-in car subsidy. Kia had previously lowered the model’s price to ensure it remained eligible for the subsidy.

It’s available to order now, with deliveries slated for fall.
