The last members of the gang who flooded the streets of Gateshead with heroin and cocaine jailed
Three other members of a drug gang who plotted to sell heroin and cocaine in Gateshead have been locked up.
Newcastle Crown Court has learned that Paul Driver, Daniel Gowan and John Stanley played lesser roles in the plot, for which 10 others were jailed last month.
However, Judge Edward Bindloss said their crimes were so serious that only one passage behind bars would suffice.
What was described in court as a drug ‘company’ was shut down after Northumbria Police launched an operation to tackle Class A supplies in the Felling area of Gateshead.
