A former Love Island star has announced that she has a boyfriend.

Amy Hart, from Worthing, previously described herself as “unlucky in love”.

But the reality TV star has confirmed that she is in a relationship for the first time.

Amy appeared on the 2019 ITV2 Love Island series, leaving the villa after her romance with Curtis Pritchard fell apart.

Sharing the news of her new relationship on social media, Amy said, “I just left and made a fucking boyfriend.”

Next to a photo of the couple shared on her Instagram, she said: “Good things happen to those who wait.”

Amy’s new boyfriend is model and entrepreneur Sam Rason.

Fans were quick to share their joy and support for Amy and her new partner.

One fan said, “Is this your first full boyfriend? Congratulation!! It gives me hope because I’m 25 and never had a boyfriend so you inspired me.

Another added: “Congratulations my daughter you are part of a million, really hand on your heart you are the most genuine person I have ever seen on screen. You have been true to you- even throughout your life, and thank you for that.Enjoy life Amy, you deserve it.

Even Welsh Labor Party Deputy Leader Carolyn Harris tweeted her excitement, saying: “You look fabulous … you two xx.”

New boyfriend Sam was featured in Aldi’s Easter 2016 ad, in which an office full of women ran to watch shirtless Sam mow the lawn.

He then opened a bundle of hot rolls and poured them over himself.

Amy entered the Love Island history books after voluntarily leaving the show when ballroom dancer Curtis showed interest in another contestant.

She has since appeared on Celebs Go Dating and has opened up about her plans to go into solo IVF treatment.

She had previously revealed that she had her eggs frozen due to fertility fears as several members of her family went into early menopause at the age of 41.

She told OK Magazine in March of this year: “I was actually talking about having solo IVF next year.

“A lot of people say, ‘Why would you do this? A baby deserves a mother and a father ”.

“But I have so many friends who have had kids with boyfriends, fiancés and husbands and found themselves single mothers with fathers who don’t want anything to do with babies.”

The former flight attendant had to undergo three attempts to successfully freeze her eggs earlier this year.

She said she “would never want to miss having children because I didn’t meet the right person in time.”
