Our ITV home comes with an ominous warning as millions are set to be seized UK News

All eyes are on ITV on Monday night as new thriller Our House finally debuts, with the channel issuing an ominous warning ahead of its debut.

Much like No Returning, the Sheridan Smith drama that wrapped up last week, there have been plenty of trailers for Our House in recent weeks, with Martin Compston playing a starring role in the TV adaptation of the book. award-winning Louise Candlish.

Line of Duty legend Martin plays Bram, the husband who does a disappearing act as Fi returns home after an uneventful day to find her world turned upside down as she makes a startling discovery.

Fi, played by Tuppence Middleton, stops on her drive to find strangers moving into her house, with her pleading with them that they made a mistake.

At the same time, she desperately tries and fails to get in touch with Bram, with flashbacks revealing why he had to do a disappearing act, as Fi becomes romantically involved with Toby, a role played by Rupert Penry-Jones, who appears to be his much-needed knight in shining armor.

ITV is pinning high hopes on Our House as a ratings winner, airing on four consecutive nights this week, and just hours before its debut the channel released a final teaser, warning viewers that it won’t be easy to watch.

The teaser, along with a clip, read, “Our Home, a new four-part thriller where nightmarish fears come true.”

The drama has already been dubbed “the stuff of nightmares” due to its plot and, commenting below, one viewer reacted, “This week is going to be a great week,” and a second replied, “I can’t wait. to watch it tonight.”

The premieres of Our House closely follow the debut of The Ipcress File, which went one-on-one with the new series from Peaky Blinders on Sunday night.
