This is the moment a man fled from a robbery, which left a woman slightly injured.
Video shared by Sussex Police shows a man fleeing after stealing a woman’s handbag in Eastbourne.
A woman in her 60s said she was pushed from behind by a man on the beachfront near Fort Fun around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday February 26.
The man stole a pink handbag and was chased by onlookers through Royal Parade and Princes Park, before fleeing along Wartling or Winchelsea Road.
The woman was slightly injured in the attack.
The suspect was wearing a gray top with gray or light colored bottoms and white sneakers.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help the investigation is asked to contact the police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 633 of 26/02.
