On March 8, phenomenal women will be in the spotlight as they are recognized on International Women’s Day.

The Queen has been named Dr Beckwoman of the Year 2022. The well-known laundry brand also revealed that 58% of British women do all the household chores.

Legendary laundry brand, Dr Beckmann has changed its name and iconic brand color to celebrate International Women’s Day.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is #BreakTheBias, which is particularly fitting following research the brand recently carried out which found that more than half of UK women say they are solely responsible for the tasks housewives inside British homes.

Dr. Beckmann, beloved by household gods and goddesses around the world, has been renamed Dr. Beckwoman, for the third consecutive year, to commemorate International Women’s Day – with a limited-edition purple series of washing machine cleaner number one in the UK, Service-it Deep Clean.

Dr Beckmann’s spokeswoman, Susan Fermor, said: “While 45% of women, surveyed via Dr Beckmann’s database, say men are doing more than ever at home, it is still quite surprising that ‘in 2022, 58% of women say they are still solely responsible for household chores.

The bold brand change from Dr. Beckmann to Dr. Beckwoman recognizes the importance of International Women’s Day and pays tribute to those who advocate for gender equality around the world.
