Fugitive felon convicted of assaulting rescue worker may be in West Country Bath City News

Devon Police have warned the public to call 999 if they see Connor Sidell on the run. The 23-year-old is wanted on a recall to jail but officers have been unable to locate him.

Devon and Cornwall Police are asking the public to report any sightings of him. A police statement read: “Sidell, who was originally convicted of possession of a bladed item, common assault on a rescue worker, common assault and burglary of a non-dwelling, saw his license revoked.

A police statement read: “Sidell, who was originally convicted of possession of a bladed item, common assault on a rescue worker, common assault and burglary of a non-dwelling, is seen withdrawn from his licence, he has links to the Newton Abbot area, as well as Bristol and Bournemouth.

“He is described as short in stature, with short black hair and is 5ft 4in tall. Extensive investigations have been carried out by the police to locate and arrest Sidell.”

The police statement adds: “Officers are now appealing to the public to report any sightings of him. Anyone who sees Sidell is asked not to approach him and to immediately call the police on 999 quoting the newspaper number 0042 from Tuesday 1st of March.”
