A SOAPSTAR involves hosting a karaoke event at a beachfront nightclub.
EastEnders actor Shaun Williamson will make an appearance at Concorde 2 in Madeira Drive, Brighton tomorrow night.
The TV personality, best known for playing Barry Evans on the BBC soap opera, will entertain revelers with his unique ‘Barrioke’ event.
Karaoke theme nights promise “characteristic warmth and teasing banter”.
Fans are invited to join Shaun on stage for a single.
Shaun began singing at festivals including Truck in Oxfordshire and Y Not in Derbyshire.
He now spins his act at clubs, weddings and private parties.
A spokesperson for the event said: ‘Shaun greets the event with his usual warmth and teasing banter, accompanying the attendees on stage, creating a happy and joyful moment that people will never forget.
“It’s the ultimate Insta moment, something people will talk about and want to be a part of.
Last year, Shaun received a rousing reception when he performed Sweet Caroline at the Boxpark in Croydon ahead of England’s semi-final at Euro 2020.
A video of his performance made the rounds on social media and Shaun said he “couldn’t believe the reaction”.
Tickets are on sale now.
The event is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and end at 10 p.m.
