Kimberley Wyatt was watched by husband Max Rogers as she explained how they met before skating to a very special song for them on Sunday’s Dancing on Ice.

Pussycat Dolls star Kimberley has been a consistent top scorer since she first stepped on the ice on the ITV show and on Sunday was aiming to make the final with professional partner Mark Hanretty .

After performing alongside fellow semi-finalists Brendan, Connor, Kye and Regan in a group number, Kimberley got another chance to bid for a final spot when she and Mark returned to the rink for a deeply personal routine. .

Celebrities got a chance to choose which song they skated to and Kimberley revealed she picked Rihanna number 1 We Found Love.

She explained that the song meant a lot to her because, at the time she met her model husband Max, she “felt lost”, after the Pussycat Dolls broke up.

Kimberley explained that she was at Clothes Show Live, where Max was a model and We Found Love reminded her of when “he took her hand and led her down the runway.”

The couple have three children and, after spending the day with the children, Max was in the Dancing on Ice audience to see Kimberley make the emotional dedication to him.

The routine earned her and Mark another perfect 40/40, but it wasn’t quite enough to secure them an automatic spot in the Dancing on Ice final.

After Regan and Brendan were successful, Kimberley defeated Connor and Kye in the skating, with all four judges deciding to send him off.

At the end of Sunday’s semi-final, Phillip Schofield confirmed that this year’s final had been postponed until March 27 due to ITV’s broadcast of the FA Cup quarter-final next weekend.
