Forecasters predict South Yorkshire will experience its hottest day of the year so far on Wednesday March 23.
MeteoGroup says Tuesday will be sunny with patches of cloud and expect highs of 17C.
Then on Wednesday a sunny day will bring temperatures of up to 19C to Sheffield.
However, the Met Office is not so optimistic with its forecast, predicting highs of just 15C on Wednesday.
It is even said to expect a patch of rain around 3pm when the heat will be at its highest.
However, either prediction would nonetheless be the hottest day of 2022 so far.
Both forecasters agree, however, that Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week will see strong sunshine and mild temperatures with little to no chance of rain in the city.
