A number of roads and streets in the area will be closed causing all kinds of traffic disruption for motorists.
There are temporary traffic lights due to works on the water main on the A167 from Hett Lane to the A167 (Croxdale Roundabout) in Croxdale, County Durham. This will be in place until April 4.

There is a temporary traffic control order on Worswick Street until March 25, 2022.
Sunniside Gardens, Tanfield Road, Hollinside Gardens in Benwell and Scotswood areas will also be closed.
Brunton Road and Brunton Lane in Newcastle also have lane restrictions until 25.
There are also temporary traffic lights due to roadworks on the A183 Whitburn Road near Lowry Road (Morrison roundabout) in Seaburn.
