Man seriously injured after being hit with glass bottle after leaving Eastbourne nightclub Brighton News

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was hit in the face with a glass bottle after leaving a nightclub.

Two men were attacked in the Susans Road and Langley Road area of ​​Eastbourne after leaving Cameo nightclub on February 12.

At around 2:30 a.m., the victims began walking towards a nearby taxi rank.

Along the way, they were attacked by a group of men.

One of the victims was attacked with a glass bottle, causing serious facial injuries, while the other victim was assaulted by the group.

After the assault, one of the men was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital where he was treated for a laceration to his face.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the fight.

One of the suspects was wearing a gray top with blue jeans, police said.

Detective Constable Katherine Tollet-Cooper said: ‘We would like to reassure members of the public that this was an isolated incident.
