His comments come after the Ukrainian leader launched a scathing attack in a series of interviews over the weekend, with the French president bearing the brunt of criticism.
Mr Zelenskyy strongly criticized Emmanuel Macron for not supporting his country militarily, saying it was “because they are afraid of Russia. And that’s it. And those who say it first are the first to to fear”.
And speaking of Germany, he said: “They try to be balanced. They have a long relationship with Russia and they look at the situation through the prism of the economy. They sometimes help. I think they trying to adapt to the situation as it evolves.”
