Piers Morgan pledges to ‘cancel cancel culture’ in new TV show Business

Times Radio presenter Tom Newton Dunn will host a news program, while Kate McCann joins the channel as political editor for Sky News.

TalkTV will also be broadcast on radio via News UK’s TalkRadio station, while live streams of the radio station’s shows led by Julia Hartley-Brewer, Mike Graham and Jeremy Kyle will be shown on the fledgling television station.

Scott Taunton, Broadcasting Director of TalkTV, said: “TalkTV will be a new voice for viewers interested in candid opinions and expert opinions on current affairs and current affairs.

“We have a roster of fresh talent who will bring exciting new shows to screen every night of the week, alongside journalists from across the UK who have expertise in all genres.

“Our existing professional talent on TalkRadio already has its own following and we will bring these popular and informed discussions of news and current affairs to a wider audience.”

Mr Morgan joined the media mogul shortly after leaving the set of Good Morning Britain, saying he did not believe the Duchess of Sussex when she said she had had suicidal thoughts in her US TV interview with Oprah Winfrey.

He secured a wide-ranging contract with News Corp, the owner of News UK, which includes a column in the Sun and the New York Post, a book deal with HarperCollins and contributions to Fox News.

This means he joins the Murdoch fold 26 years after leaving the post of editor of News of the World.

Mr Murdoch then allegedly said of Mr Morgan that ‘the young man has gone too far’ by invading the privacy of Victoria Lockwood, then wife of Earl Spencer.
