Police cordon off part of Sutton Road A259 in Seaford Brighton News

POLICE cordoned off part of a main street after an incident this afternoon.

Several police cars could be seen on the A259 Sutton Road in Seaford with a police cordon stretching approximately 30 yards down the high street.

It started with the Seven Café in Sutton Road and stretched to Lloyds TSB on the corner of the main street.

The nature of the incident is unclear, but small drops of blood were visible on the main street inside and outside the police cordon.

A passerby said someone had been pushed into the window of the cafe.

Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
