“From June 20, 2022, we will remove Boots Advantage Card points from accounts that have not been used for one year, instead of the current two-year period.

Reacting to the news, finance buffs said people might not be happy with the new rule.

Their editor, David Beard, said: “Loyal Boots customers won’t appreciate this change. Boots isn’t necessarily a retailer you shop with regularly, and many customers may not have the “used to use their card every time they shop. due to the frequency of their visits. “Imposing a shorter time limit on one of their most popular benefits on the eve of the day when finances many families are about to be stretched could be a bad move for the pharmacy.”
