Mark Hix’s nostalgic three-course feast for Easter Sunday Wine News

Other than chocolate eggs and hot buns, many of us don’t really celebrate Easter in a gourmet way.

Around the world, those who take Easter seriously are treating this weekend much like we do Christmas – with a huge feast of seasonal favourites. There are some similarities though, and lamb, eggs and chocolate seem to be the common ingredients, although many countries celebrate with fish (and why not you if your country is coastal and depends on the sea for its food ?).

Here I’ve stuck to some British classics with three courses that have a touch of nostalgia and reflect our Easter celebrations.
