SUNSEEKERS swarmed Brighton’s beaches today, the hottest of the year so far.
And the good weather is expected to continue throughout the Easter holidays.
The Met Office predicted a weekend of warm sunny weather.
The weather has warmed since Wednesday and the thermometer reached 22°C in London.
It is mostly dry in the south east and expected to remain so, with temperatures reaching highs of 17C today in Brighton.

Tomorrow will also be dry and warm, although it will become windy later along the coast.
The weather will remain dry but the sun will fade towards the middle of the week.
Meteorologist Greg Dewhurst said: “There will be plenty of dry weather throughout the weekend itself.
“Temperatures are well above average for the time of year, reaching 22 to 23 degrees Celsius, making it the hottest day of the year in 2022.”
