A 23-year-old motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a serious collision with a car.
Officers attended the A283 near the Bramber Castle roundabout in Steyning around 6.20pm on Tuesday after a black Triumph motorbike and a red Citroën C1 collided.
The motorcyclist was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The road has been temporarily closed while emergency services respond and vehicles are recovered.
Anyone who witnessed the accident, saw either vehicle move through the area beforehand, or was able to capture relevant dash cam footage is asked to email to collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk or call 101 quoting Operation Barling.
