A power outage affects properties across the city this morning.
UK Power Networks said three postcodes in Brighton and Hove are currently affected by power outages.
The postal codes are as follows:
• NE1 5
• NE1 6
• NE1 8
The company, which is responsible for maintaining power cables in the south east of England, said 69 customers are currently affected.
He estimates power will return for most customers between 1 and 2 p.m. today.
A spokesperson said the outage was due to an underground cable fault.
He said: ‘An underground power cable failed on our high-voltage network, causing a power outage across the region.
