Porsche previewed the upcoming 911 Sport Classic.
In a teaser posted to the company’s Instagram account with the caption “Shades of the past,” close-up images of a gray Porsche 911 reminiscent of the 2009 special edition can be seen, while a brief glimpse of the front of the car can be seen in the background.
The car appears to feature a large, square-shaped scoop on the front bumper, while a smaller scoop can be seen on the lower hood.
Not much is seen of the car, but the special edition appears to be painted in a color similar to the Sport Classic Gray special featured on the last car. Two light gray stripes with dark blue details are painted on the bonnet.
One scene, which depicts the painted blue details, appears to show a rear trunk lid with an under-wrapped ducktail spoiler, clearly inspired by the 1973 911 Carrera RS.
A reveal date is not disclosed, with the teaser simply telling viewers to “stay tuned”.
