Police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann have reportedly provided an update after questioning Christian B in jail after he was officially named as a suspect last week.

A statement released last week by Portuguese authorities declared Christian B an official suspect but since then “he hasn’t given any information so far – not even via his defense lawyer”, according to the lead prosecutor.

Madeleine was three years old when she disappeared on May 3, 2007 while on vacation in Portugal.

His disappearance sparked one of the most publicized missing persons searches in history.
