After a three-year hiatus, the Bath Business Awards are set to return later this year to recognize the achievements and resilience of the local business community during the pandemic.
The event, which has not taken place in recent years due to Covid-19, is scheduled to take place on Thursday September 29 at the Bath Pavilion.
SomersetLive and its partner website BusinessLive and The Bath Chronicle newspaper are looking for companies that deserve recognition after a tough few years.
Since the last awards ceremony, a Clean Air Zone has been introduced to the city, while Bath has also received its second UNESCO World Heritage status. Over the past three years there have been many business successes in Bath as many businesses have emerged from lockdown restrictions.
From companies such as Lovehoney building global business empires to independent companies like Electric Bear Brewing confusing the odds against them to boost online sales during the pandemic, there has been much to celebrate within the Bath business community.
Businesses across the city can now pitch themselves and their staff for this year’s Bath Business Awards – in partnership with Bath-based internet service provider Truespeed.
Truespeed Managing Director James Lowther said: “The Bath Business Awards create a huge sense of camaraderie in the Bath community. Many businesses have been through a long period of hardship, so supporting our fellow local businesses is essential. .
“As a Bath-based company rolling out superfast, full fiber optic broadband across the South West, we are delighted to be supporting the awards for the third year in a row and look forward to celebrating the host of inspiring businesses and incredibly talented people from Bath.”
All public, private or third sector organizations can participate in the awards, regardless of their size or sector of activity.
The awards also recognize individual talent with categories for entrepreneurs who have successfully grown their business or outstanding employees whose efforts have stood out this year.
Nominations are now open with July 13 the deadline for entries. For more information on how to enter or purchase tickets, please visit the official event website.
