MOTORISTS are facing major delays along the A22 following an oil spill.
The southbound A22 Golden Jubilee Way at Polegate was closed after a lorry broke down, with traffic slow due to salvage work.
An oil spill was reported between B2247 Dittons Road and B2191 Willingdon Drove.
Congestion is building along the A27 and queuing up to the Cophall roundabout.
Delays of 20 minutes were reported in the area, with traffic moving at just 5mph.
