An elderly pedestrian was admitted to hospital after being seriously injured in a collision with a van.
Emergency services responded to the incident in Gloucester Road in Brighton, at the junction with Tidy Street, at around 11.55am on May 23.
The octogenarian was seriously injured and remains in hospital for treatment.
A section of the road was temporarily closed while emergency services were present.
Police are investigating the collision and are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant footage to email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, citing Operation Halsted.
