Paraglider airlifted to hospital after crash at Telscombe Cliffs Brighton News

The South East Coast (Secamb) Ambulance was called to Telscombe Cliffs at around 4.30pm yesterday after the paraglider was injured.

An air ambulance and police were also present and the man was airlifted to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton after being treated at the scene for leg injuries.

A coastguard helicopter was also present, as well as rescue teams.

A Secamb spokesperson said: “We were called shortly after 4.30pm yesterday, May 30, to reports of an injured paraglider at Telscombe Cliffs.

“Ambulance crews were present and were joined at the scene by the Kent, Surrey, Sussex Air Ambulance Service.

“The paraglider was assessed and treated at the scene for injuries, including a leg injury, before being airlifted to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.”
