TWO cars were involved in an accident on the A27, causing severe traffic jams.
Part of the road is partially blocked at the Golden Jubilee A22 roundabout near Polegate after the incident, with traffic moving slowly.
Several cars were seen queuing to get over the accident, with serious delays of 14 minutes reported.
A fire engine and several police vehicles were also spotted at the scene.
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
