Sam Thompson issues warning ahead of Staying Relevant tour UK News

Thompson and Wicks announced in December they would be taking their popular podcast – Staying Relevant – on the road in 2024 visiting locations across the UK and Ireland including London, Birmingham and Dublin.

The Staying Relevant podcast has become so popular, the first lot of tickets released sold out within 20 minutes. 

A second round of dates was then revealed by Wicks and Thompson – who was in December crowned winner of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, with some tickets for those shows still on sale.

Staying Relevant Live tour dates

The dates for the Staying Relevant Live tour in 2024 are:

  • Tyne Theatre, Newcastle – April 2
  • The Pavilion Theatre, Glasgow – April 3
  • O2 Shephard’s Bush Empire, London – April 5
  • Aviva Studios, Manchester – April 6
  • New Theatre, Cardiff – April 7
  • Utilita Arena, Birmingham – April 14
  • Palladium, London – April 15
  • Pavilions, Plymouth – April 20
  • National Stadium, Dublin – April 23

Staying Relevant Live tour tickets

There are still some tickets available (at the time of publication) to see Thompson, Wicks and the Staying Relevant Live tour in the UK and Ireland in 2024. 

While most shows are sold out, there are limited tickets available on the Ticketmaster website for the Plymouth, Dublin and Birmingham shows.

Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks issue warning about fake tickets ahead of Staying Relevant tour

Speaking on the latest instalment of the Staying Relevant podcast on Monday (January 15) Thompson and Wicks issued a warning for those still looking for tickets the live tour shows.

The pair said people should be careful as fake tickets to the Staying Relevant tour shows had begun circulating due to most of the shows having already sold out.

Wicks said: “Because the ticketing went mad, and this is what I find mental in my eyes is, we now have a ticket scam.

“So our tickets, there are black market tickets for Staying Relevant, people are selling fake tickets to Staying Relevant.

Thompson added: “Well don’t buy them.”

Wicks replied: “Well obviously, I don’t think they needed to be told that. Sorry, I’m not promoting them saying go and get them, go and get the fake tickets you won’t get in with.

“So make sure you go and get them from all the relevant places that you will find on our Instagram and all the other (places).”
