Muse of Karl Lagerfeld and the first model to sign an exclusive contract with Chanel, Ins, the icon of an era that left its mark on the history of international fashion. The new DS 3 Crossback Ins De La Fressange Paris is inspired by its style and refinement, a very long name but clear in describing the cultural profile of the operation: a car dedicated to women and presented by the premium brand of the Stellantis Group (PSA pi FCA) on the occasion of Milan Fashion Week.
The DS3 Crossback Ins De La Fressange Paris, born from the collaboration with the French fashion brand, keeps the modern forms of the crossover unchanged, enriching them with a series of stylistic elements dedicated expressly to the female audience. The car recalls in name and spirit the model that better than anyone else was able to express that concept of Parisian style and elegance, chic with noble roots, a slightly snobbish and at times unapproachable simplicity.
The exclusive body color of the DS 3 Crossback Ins De La Fressange Paris deliberately not cheeky, in an elegant Sapphire Blue, with Ines red details on the mirror caps and on the hubcaps of the 18 ”diamond alloy wheels. And on the hood there is an exclusive badge of the fashion brand. The car thus becomes an important tribute to the female public by the premium brand that has a woman in charge, Batrice Foucher. Inside the sartorial model, with noble materials worked by French artisans, and a delicate blue tone accompanied by parts in Alcantara. The interior upholstery is the result of the joint development between the DS Automobiles and Ins de la Fressange Paris teams: in their workshops, the weavers were inspired by leather weaving techniques, creating a specific tailoring for the seat and back of the seats in a multi-material fabric. The steering wheel covered in leather by saddlers who used a specific technique for DS Automobiles, while the pedals made entirely of aluminum.
The new DS 3 Crossback Ins De La Fressange Paris will be built in only 1,500 units, of which 100 for the Italian market. Two engines are foreseen, PureTech 130 petrol and BlueHDi 130 diesel, both equipped with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The on-board technology is what distinguishes the compact crossover, with all the latest safety systems, from emergency braking up to 140 km / h, cruise control, active lane departure warning, blind spot surveillance system , DS matrix led vision headlights, front and rear parking sensors, retractable door handles that come out as the driver approaches, and navigation system on 10.3 ” HD touchscreen. Deliveries will begin in March 2021, with prices starting at € 34,500 for the petrol engine version and € 36,350 for the diesel version.
