MG shows the first images of the MG Cyberster concept car, which will debut at the Shanghai Auto Show (21/28 April). a two-door sporty two-seater that recalls the MG tradition, especially the MGB Roadster.

In 2024, it will be one hundred years since its foundation of the British brand MG (Morris Garages). Passed under the control of the Chinese giant SAIC, the story continues heading towards the electric horizon (the ZS EV, a zero-emission SUV, has just been launched; other electric models are already on the calendar), but retaining the style of the roots.

The Cyberster was developed in the Shanghai style center, in collaboration with the London style center. The front features the classic MG round headlights, which open when the interactive Magic Eye headlights are on. Another detail to note is the line of LEDs that underline, like a belt of light, the profile of the car along the side. The belt line thus designed on two levels enhances the dynamic aspect and emphasizes the presence of the wheels. The rear has a linear design, with LED lights integrated into the tail, and conveys an image that echoes the stylistic heritage of the British brand.
