A thug who attacked a woman during an argument has been jailed.
Lee Shannon O’Neil assaulted Victoria Latter in Burgess Hill.
The 36-year-old destroyed a television and damaged her kitchen window in the incident.
He appeared in Crawley Magistrates’ Court where he admitted assault and criminal damage.
It was also revealed that he harassed Ms Latter to the point that she feared immediate unlawful violence.
The assault took place on March 12 of this year.
Then he sent her threatening text and voicemail messages and made phone calls. The crime violated police bail conditions.
O’Neil also violated a suspended sentence for assault in Burgess Hill, the court said.
He was jailed for 38 weeks for the crimes and ordered to pay Ms Latter £ 150 in compensation.
O’Neil, of Brighton Road, Horley, was placed on a restraining order until March 2024 with orders not to contact Ms Latter.
