Car crashes into Tesco store near Bath Bath City News

A car has crashed into terminals outside a Tesco Express near Bath.

The blue car collided in front of the Bath Road grocery chain in Peasedown St. John just before 10:50 am this morning (Thursday April 15).

Emergency services and police attended the scene, with firefighters trying to secure the vehicle using stabilizer blocks.

Avon Fire and Rescue has confirmed that there is no causation.

Bath and Radstock fire trucks were also called in.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “We were called at 10:50 am for a single vehicle collision. No injuries were reported.”

A spokesperson for Avon Fire and Rescue said, “We were called at 10:56 am for a traffic collision at a commercial property on Bath Road in Peasedown St. John.

“Bath and Radstock firefighters witnessed the incident and upon arrival a vehicle had collided with bollards outside the workshop. The teams worked to secure the vehicle using stabilization blocks.

“We were joined at the scene by colleagues from the police and can confirm that there were no casualties there.”
