Emergency vehicles filled a road following an incident this afternoon.
Police have closed a section of Sea Road in East Preston with a large number of officers currently on the scene.
Ambulance teams are also present.
Police deal with incident in East Preston
Police tape was stretched across the road in two places to demarcate part of the street.
Officers are stationed at each end, and several officers are also working in the cordoned off area.
Sussex Police have confirmed that officers are “dealing with an incident” but “no further details are available at this stage”.
