Prince Philip was laid to rest in an intimate funeral in Windsor, as the Queen said goodbye to her 73-year-old husband.
Dressed in black and with a face mask, the queen sat alone due to coronavirus restrictions.
A small group of Philippe close family and friends attended the televised funeral service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, which began with a national minute of silence at 3 p.m.

Philip’s coffin was carried on a Land Rover Defender hearse custom built by the Duke and modified for 16 years.
He was followed for part of his last trip by the Queen, who traveled in a Bentley with Lady Susan Hussey, her trusted maid of honor.
Behind the coffin, dressed in morning suits and day dresses but no uniforms, were Philip’s eldest children, the Prince of Wales and the Princess Royal, followed by their siblings, the Earl of Wessex and the Duke of York.
In the third row were the Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Cambridge, but between the two royal brothers – their troubled relationship well documented – was their cousin Peter Phillips.
