A spokesperson for the borough council said: “It is really important that as the restrictions are lifted and businesses have the opportunity to reopen, they can do so. This is why the decision was made to move the covid-19 rapid test center located at the John Bunyan Center to the Faraday Community Center.

“Rapid test kits for people without symptoms and PCR tests for those with symptoms will still be available in the Borough of Bedford while the sports and fitness center is closed.”

People who experience symptoms such as a high temperature, continuous new cough, or loss of their sense of taste or smell should immediately self-isolate and book a PCR test.
