Rescuers have launched an attempt to rescue a stranded whale stuck on the River Thames in west London.
An RNLI crew was dispatched to help free the whale at Richmond Lock.
He was first spotted by passers-by around 7 p.m. and crowds gathered to witness the rescue attempt.
