The comrades of Perrie Edwards’ band Little Mix responded to her pregnancy news with heartfelt posts on Instagram.
Perrie, 27, used the social media platform to share the news that she is expecting her first baby with footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, with the South Shields-born star posting photos of the couple cradling their bump. baby and writing: “So happy to be on this wild trip with my soul mate. Me + Him = You. We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox”
The Liverpool and England singer and footballer have been together for over four years now, having started dating when Alex played for Arsenal.

Alex reacted to Perrie’s Instagram post with a trio of love heart emojis, then shared the black and white photos on his own account, with the caption: “Someone got advice on how to change diapers? So grateful and excited to be a dad. bring sleepless nights “
Little Mix stars Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock were quick to respond with two very sweet comments.
Jade, the young girl from South Shields, wrote: “beaming for you both. I am the luckiest aunt in the world! I love youuuu.”
And Leigh-Anne, who revealed last week that she was pregnant with the baby of the other half of footballer Andre Gray, commented: “Arghhhhhhhh so so happy for both of you! And so happy that we can make this trip together ! I love you so much”
Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne, along with former teammate Jesy Nelson, were reunited as a group on The X Factor in 2011, having originally auditioned as solo singers.
After overtaking Judges Houses and taking part in live broadcasts, Rhythmix, as the girls were first known, changed their name to Little Miz, and then became the first group to win the ITV show.
During their 10-year career, the girl group has had a string of No.1 singles and albums, sold-out tours and two Brit Awards.
