Boy hit in car near Oakwood underground station UK News

A schoolboy was taken to hospital after being hit by a car near a train station.

Emergency services were called to the Oakwood subway station area shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

The Met says he was called at 2:52 p.m. for reporting a collision between a car and a pedestrian at Bramley Road, near Southgate.

Paramedics surrendered alongside police and a 12-year-old boy was taken to a north London hospital.

Police said his condition was subsequently assessed as not life threatening or life changing.

The driver of the involved vehicle stopped at the scene.

After the collision, police registered the area while investigations were carried out.
